The incident took place at hole 16 of the Clarks Beach Golf Club, located about an hour from Auckland, New Zealand. She posted a snapshot of the completely unusual scene on Facebook, saying she believed the couple was cheating on their respective spouses.
“Hey, Romeo, Juliet, 7:15 PM on a Monday, seriously?” she wrote in the post made to a local Facebook group, adding that, by documenting the outrageous act, the couple seemed to know they were not alone.
“I grabbed my phone and shot a quick video, probably a four-second video, but when they stopped moving, I think they were already aware of my presence,” she commented in an interview with the NZ Herald.
“After my run, I saw a man and a woman, like, from a distance, playing golf, and they seemed to be around 50 or 60 years old. So I had the feeling it could have been them, but they weren’t making eye contact with me.”
